AccuSights, Inc. and AccuSights LLC
This Cookie Notice explains how AccuSights, Inc. and AccuSights LLC (together, "AccuSights," "we") use cookies and similar technologies on accusights.com, the AccuSights portal and any other site or application that links to this Notice (the "Sites"). It supplements our Privacy Policy (accusights.com/legal/privacy). accusights.ae is operated by AccuSights Technology Consultants LLC (dba AccuSights UAE), a separate controller, which applies this Notice to that site under the UAE PDPL.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. First-party cookies are set by AccuSights; third-party cookies are set by another company through our Sites. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them. We also use pixels (tiny images or scripts that record that a page or email was opened), tags (scripts loaded from a provider such as Google or LinkedIn), local storage (data your browser stores for a site) and SDKs inside applications. This Notice calls all of them "cookies."
2. The four categories we use
| Category | What it does | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Makes the Site and portal work: login sessions, MFA, security tokens, load balancing, form submission, cookie-consent choice, fraud prevention. | Cannot be switched off. No consent needed. |
| Functional | Remembers choices you make: language, region, dismissed banners, calculator inputs on the pricing and partner pages, chat widget state. | Off by default where opt-in is required (EU/UK/Switzerland); on by default elsewhere with opt-out. |
| Analytics | Tells us how the Sites are used so we can improve them: pages viewed, time on page, navigation paths, conversion funnels, errors. | Off by default where opt-in is required; on by default elsewhere with opt-out. |
| Advertising | Measures our ads and shows you AccuSights ads on other platforms (retargeting) and builds audiences of people who visited certain pages. Under California and other US state laws, this is "sharing" / "targeted advertising." | Off by default where opt-in is required. Elsewhere, on by default but off if you send a Global Privacy Control signal or opt out via Cookie settings or the "Do Not Sell or Share" link. |
3. The cookies we use
The table lists the tools in use at the effective date. The live cookie table inside "Cookie settings" is generated by our consent banner and is authoritative if it differs.

Email tracking. Marketing emails contain a pixel that records when you open the email and which links you click. You can prevent this by disabling image loading in your email client or by unsubscribing. Transactional emails (invoices, security notices) do not contain marketing pixels.
Inside the authenticated Platform we use only strictly necessary cookies and our own first-party product-usage logging. We do not run advertising pixels inside the Platform, and Customer Data is never sent to advertising providers.
4. How the consent banner works
- Where opt-in consent is required (EEA, UK, Switzerland, and any other place whose law requires it), visitors see a banner on first visit. Functional, analytics and advertising cookies are not set until you click "Accept all" or turn on the categories you choose. "Reject all" is as prominent as "Accept all." Closing the banner without choosing is treated as rejection of non-essential cookies.
- In the United States and other places, the banner tells you which cookies are in use and gives you a "Cookie settings" link. Analytics and functional cookies load by default; advertising cookies load by default unless your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or you have previously opted out, in which case they stay off.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). We detect the GPC signal on every page load and treat it as a request to opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising. When we detect it, advertising tags are not loaded and a notice appears in Cookie settings confirming that the signal was honored. If you log in to an account, we also apply the opt-out to that account. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" headers, because there is no accepted standard for them.
- Re-consent. We ask again when we add a new category or a new advertising provider, and at least every 12 months.
- Records. We keep a log of your consent choice (a random ID, timestamp, choices, Notice version) for 5 years to demonstrate compliance.
5. How to change your settings
- Cookie settings — click the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any Site (or the floating icon at the bottom of the page) to turn categories on or off at any time. Changes take effect immediately for new cookies; already-set third-party cookies expire on their own schedule or can be deleted in your browser.
- Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information — accusights.com/do-not-share turns off advertising cookies and records a CCPA opt-out.
- Global Privacy Control — enable it in a supporting browser (for example Brave, Firefox, DuckDuckGo) or an extension such as Privacy Badger. See globalprivacycontrol.org.
- Browser controls — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies (see the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the portal and forms from working.
- Provider opt-outs — Google Analytics opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); Meta ad preferences (facebook.com/adpreferences); LinkedIn (linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls); Google ad settings (myadcenter.google.com); Reddit (reddit.com/settings/privacy); industry tools at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com.
6. Retention
Cookie lifetimes are listed in Section 3. Data collected through analytics cookies is kept in Google Analytics 4 for 14 months and then aggregated. Advertising audience data held by Meta, LinkedIn, Google and Reddit is retained under their terms (typically 30 to 180 days for website audiences). Consent logs are kept for 5 years. Our Privacy Policy, Section 10, has retention periods for other data.
7. Third-party providers
The providers above are independent controllers for the data they collect through their own tags, and their notices govern that use: Google (policies.google.com/privacy), Meta (facebook.com/privacy/policy), LinkedIn (linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy), Microsoft (privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement), Reddit (reddit.com/policies/privacy-policy), GoHighLevel (gohighlevel.com/privacy-policy), Stripe (stripe.com/privacy). Google Analytics data may be transferred to the United States; for EU/UK visitors this occurs only after consent and under Google's Standard Contractual Clauses.
