What GRC platforms cost for SOC 2
The figures below come from two public sources: Vendr, which publishes anonymized data from contracts its customers signed, and the vendors' own listings. All were checked in October 2026.
| Platform | Median contract | Under 50 staff | Mid-size, about 50 to 200 staff | Price on website? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vanta | $20,000 | $12,000 to $28,000 | $25,000 to $55,000 | No |
| Drata | $25,000 | $12,000 to $28,000 | $25,000 to $50,000 (Vendr band: 50 to 250) | No |
| Secureframe | $20,000 | $12,000 to $20,000 | $20,000 to $35,000 | From $7,500 |

How much does Vanta cost?
Vanta's site asks you to request personalized pricing. Its plans are named Essentials, Plus, Professional and Enterprise, and Essentials includes one framework.
Its AWS Marketplace listing does show list prices. For a company of 1 to 20 people on a 12-month contract, those are $14,000 for Essentials, $21,500 for Plus and $23,000 for Professional. Add-ons are listed separately for the same size band: Trust Center at $6,000 (Advanced $10,000), Questionnaire Automation at $10,000 (Advanced $16,000) and Third Party Risk Management at $13,600.
The first quote isn't what most people pay. Vendr reports that Vanta buyers save about 30 percent on average, and 15 to 30 percent off initial quotes on multi-year deals.
How much does Drata cost?
Drata publishes neither prices nor plan names. Vendr's median is about $25,000 a year, with a range of $9,415 to $68,250. Vendr also notes that each additional framework adds cost, as it does for Vanta and Secureframe, so a quote for SOC 2 alone will grow when you add ISO 27001 or HIPAA.
How much does Secureframe cost?
Secureframe is the most open of the three. Its Fundamentals plan is listed as starting at $7,500 a year, with higher tiers on request. Vendr's median contract is about $20,000.

Your first-year platform bill
Platform range is Vendr's band for the big three. The audit range combines Vendr's auditor-fee guidance with one directory's observed quotes. Onboarding is Vendr's range for Vanta. Module prices are Vanta's AWS Marketplace list prices. The extra-framework range is Strike Graph's published price across its plans. Other vendors differ, so treat this as a sketch.
Three more costs don't fit in a checkbox:
- An MDM. Platform agents report on devices. Enforcing settings across a larger fleet usually means buying device management too.
- Advisory help. If nobody on your team has done SOC 2 before, you'll want an expert, and that's often a separate purchase. See consultant vs software.
- Your own hours. Someone has to run the tool.
Does pricing rise at renewal?
It can. Vendr's guidance for all three is that renewals typically rise 5 to 10 percent a year unless capped. It suggests negotiating a cap of around 3 to 5 percent with Secureframe, and notes that Drata contracts often cap increases at 5 to 8 percent. Prices also step up when your headcount moves into the next band.
How to get a better price
- Get two quotes. These vendors compete hard for the same customers.
- Bundle frameworks up front. Vendr notes that adding one later costs more than including it at signing.
- Trade term for discount carefully. Multi-year deals are cheaper per year. Only commit if you've used the tool.
- Ask for a renewal cap in the contract.
- Leave out modules you won't use in year one.
With AccuSights: pricing starts at $6,000 a year for a small business. The platform, the endpoint agent, expert guidance and remediation are one fixed fee, so you aren't adding up modules. The independent audit and, if you want one, a full external pen test are billed separately.
